My newest challenge, thanks to Sarah and AFI :)

Teaser - let's start with the fact that I'm going to have a sweet giveaway of running products/samples later this week!  Check back!

Also, it's surgery week!!!  Contrary to my exclamation points, I am actually quite unexcited about this fact.  I'm happy that I will finally be on the road to getting back to where I was but I'm terrified because I've never had surgery before and I've read a lot of horror stories (thank you, internet).  I had a super productive Friday/Saturday and have officially filled my freezer with lots of homemade soups and casseroles to alleviate some of my guilt of not being able to help out around the house during recovery.
Oh my goodness, can you imagine?
I've been trying to come up with a challenge for myself during my recovery (besides healing and PT of course) that will allow me to feel productive and accomplished.  So far, I've come up blank with my ideas but last night I was scanning through FB and a friend of mine posted about how her and husband recently finished watching the American Film Institute's top 100 movies over 100 years.  It took them almost 7 years to watch all of these movies but I figured I could get a good head start on them during my recovery and see where the road takes me!  Here are the first 10 movies on the list and you can find the rest of them here
#MOVIEYEAR
1CITIZEN KANE1941
2CASABLANCA1942
3THE GODFATHER1972
4GONE WITH THE WIND1939
5LAWRENCE OF ARABIA1962
6THE WIZARD OF OZ1939
7THE GRADUATE1967
8ON THE WATERFRONT1954
9SCHINDLER'S LIST1993
10SINGIN' IN THE RAIN1952

As many of you know, I'm an avid reader and also decided to add to this challenge...Amazon.com has a list of the 100 books everyone should read in their lifetime and I'm also going to throw that into my challenge mix.  In the interest of full disclosure, I've already read a LOT of books on this list so I'm going to revisit some of my favorites and reread the ones I haven't read since high school.  I'm also hoping to check out the ones I haven't read.  You can find that list here!

Try to Enjoy your Monday!
